Coronavirus Update – Government Guidances 12/11/2020
| The Government has published guidances in respect of various coronavirus supports. We have already provided the headline information of these supports in previous Updates, but in view of the importance of these to businesses, we thought it useful to here provide links to these latest guidances for those who wish to study the detail. Coronavirus Job Retention Scheme -Our Updates of 2nd and 5th November provided information on the extension of the Scheme beyond 31st October. HM Revenue & Customs have now published detailed guidance and the link to this can be found below. Local Restrictions Support Grant (LRSG) -Our Updates of 13th October and 2nd November detailed the LRSG available for businesses legally required to close, initially in Tier 3 regions and subsequently extended to the national lockdown. -Our Update of 23rd October detailed the LRSG available for businesses severely impacted by local restrictions, but not required to close. -The Government have published more detailed guidance on both of these, and the links to these can be found below. Additional Restrictions Grant -Our Update of 23rd October referred to funding to enable local councils to support affected businesses including those not in the business rating system. Eligibility and levels of grant are determined by individual local councils. -The Government has published further information on this, and the link can be found below.
