ANSA Elevators Ltd. install, repair and maintain lifts from simple domestic units to complex group systems across the UK. The business has been working with FFT for over 20 years and has a long and successful relationship with the firm.
Mark Dunning, the Financial Director of ANSA Elevators, says: “FFT were a company that suited the size of our business. Despite sharing many challenges similar to larger companies, we felt that they could handle these effectively.” As a Chartered Accountant himself, Mark uses FFT for advice on some of the more complicated legal and financial issues of running a business. Mark says: “We have needed FFT’s services for complex tax arrangements and, over the 20 years we’ve been working with them, they have gained an in-depth knowledge of our business.”

These complex tax issues include providing information on the updates to policy from the Government as well as detailed tax planning. This is something which Mark greatly appreciates.
“Keeping up with legislation changes isn’t something that I can spend a great deal of time on, so FFT are great for that. They give us recommendations and we make decisions as a team based on these.”
FFT are auditors for ANSA Elevators Limited and its group Companies’. When it comes to undertaking the audits, Mark is grateful for the minimal disruption to the business that FFT prides itself on.
“They do it efficiently and work well with our in-house team as well as the Financial Controller to get the job done,” says Mark. “The added value aspect of what FFT provides comes at the end of the audit when we’re filing accounts and planning for the future – the strategic stuff – which they are very good at.”
Mark strongly believes that FFT are well suited to businesses of ANSA Elevators’ size and scale and recommends their services to other companies looking for accountants and auditors.
